MERCHANDISE GALLERY@LAPUNYAH 

• The Merchandise Gallery is for all artists/craftworkers, ages and mediums 

• Artists are restricted to 2 artworks only 

• Works offered for sale should be clean, well presented, D-Rings (if applicable) securely attached (no wires or string) and meet the Gallery Ethos  

• Any artworks previously hung in Lapunyah Art Gallery will not be accepted. 

• Any Artificial Intelligence (AI) artworks will not be accepted. 

• The gallery is based on the See, Buy, Take principle……the purchaser will see what they like, they buy it, and then they take it home! 

Artwork Guidelines 

• 2D artwork must fit in a no more than 30cm X 30cm size and be hung on 2 D-Rings  

• Top of D-Ring to be placed 4cm from the top of the artwork 

• Works on paper or canvas board can be framed .......frame must fit in the no more than 30cm x 30cm size restraint 

• Rods used to hang works must be no longer than 30cm. Works must fit the 30cm x 30cm size restraint. D-Rings are to be attached to the ends of the rod 

• 3D artworks with a slim outline can be hung within the no more than 30cm x 30cm size restraint  

• A lockable plinth will be available for small 3D objects e.g. ceramics, woodwork. Works must fit in a H:20cm x L:20cm x W:20cm size restraint  

• Artworks exhibited must be original, and not produced at a workshop 

Sales Procedures 

• As artworks are delivered they will be allocated a Merchandise Number 

• Artworks are placed on sale dependent on their Merchandise Number and the space available in the exhibition space 

• If an artist's works sells the free space is given to the next artwork in line. Lapunyah will not store or display any artworks beyond the two allocated to each artist 

• Prices for artworks are to be no more than $200 

• There are no fees for displaying artworks, but a 20% commission applies to all works 

• Artists are generally paid for sold artworks within two weeks after the end of their 4 week sale period 

General Information 

• Lapunyah Art Gallery installation team will install all artwork  

• Images of artworks may be used for promotional purposes  

• Lapunyah Art Gallery takes all care but accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to artworks 

• Lapunyah Art Gallery has stretched canvases up to 30cm x 30cm and D-Rings for sale  

• All unsold artworks must be collected four weeks after their initial hanging date
